New Peer Group for Irrigation Contractors

Aug 19, 2016 | Peer Groups

Announcing the first-ever peer group for Irrigation Business Owners!

The new group held its meeting in London, Ontario on August 2-4 and was hosted by Blue Jay Irrigation. The group of American and Canadian irrigation contractors met to benchmark financials, share proven practices, and experience a deep dive behind-the-scenes tour of the host member’s facilities and leadership team.

With ongoing trends in water management and increasing government obstacles to running a business, this peer group is very timely, and critical for achievement-minded irrigation entrepreneurs to gain the tools they need to grow and succeed.

Trevor Lively, GM of Blue Jay Irrigation “The meeting was very encouraging, challenging and motivating. We have a great group who care about each other and hold each other accountable. They continually pushed me and one another to develop and grow as business owners.”

Members of this Irrigation Leaders peer group are invited to join based on having a minimum of $1 million in irrigation service, and must also be performing openings and closings.

According to Jeffrey Scott, the group leader, “Members are challenged to become better leaders, more financially savvy, more strategic in their growth objectives—They are motivated to take bold calculated actions in order to achieve breakthrough results.”

The following companies were represented at the meeting in Ontario.

Blue Jay Irrigation, London, Ontario, Bruce Lively, CEO and Trevor Lively, GM
