Would you like to make 2017 your best year ever? Here is the first step. The key is to start the year stronger by making sure you are personally stronger, rejuvenated and recharged. Dr. Stephen Covey (author of the book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People) and I are in agreement on this: In order to increase your personal productivity you have to sharpen your saw.
To recharge I took my family to Utah last week to visit my daughter who is going to a therapeutic school near Zion National Park. Here is a photo of us enjoying God’s country. We recharged spiritually by putting down our smart phones and reconnecting with each other and nature. We recharged our bodies by sleeping in and hiking Zion Nat’l Park, and back country X-country skiiing at 10,000 above sea level. We recharged our mindfulness by doing some “family work” at my daughter’s therapeutic school.
What are you doing to recharge and prepare yourself to “rock it” in 2017? How are you stretching your mind and sharpening your saw?
